Take a Look at Our Injustice: Gods Among Us 2 Mobile Wishlist
The first Injustice game for the mobile platform was a nice port of the console fighting game. The combat was fun, the super moves were a joy to watch, and collecting cards was a satisfyingly addictive grind. So to say that we have high hopes for the sequel would be an understatement. Of course, that does not simply mean we only want more of the same (though that is also among what we would really like to see). No, there are plenty of things that can be improved, lots of neat things that can be added, and of course a lot more DC-related fun to be had. So without further ado, here is out Injustice: Gods Among Us 2 mobile game wishlist.
Here is the one feature that the mobile app has that the console games do not: big team setups. Heck, there is not even a tag-team in the first place. And yet, in the mobile, you can create your own teams of three super powered fighters to take on other teams. And with all team battles come the nice caveat of having team attacks. Sadly, the original Injustice mobile app lacked that.
Imagine having Harley and Joker playing pranks on a target before blowing them up. Or Batman and Green Arrow showing that it takes more than superpowers to be a hero. Or what about Yellow Lanterns Hal Jordan and Sinestro summoning Parallax? And for those of you DC fans just tuning into the realm of Injustice, yes, Jordan has switched from Green to Yellow. And those are just two-person tag moves, the best attacks will certainly be ones that involve all three. Sure adding all new animations and moves would be effortsome for the developers, but fans would certainly die to see those.

More Voice Acting
The thing that comic books lacks the most is audio, you simply cannot hear anything from a trade paperback. This is why character voices from shows, films, and games matter a lot since they add that massive sense of life into a known character. Until now, many Marvel fans would attest that Capcom's dub for the fighting games are some of the best and most appropriate voices for the iconic characters. For DC, the trademark voices has been set by the animated shows (particularly Bruce Timm's JL and JLU). Obviously, there are some iconic voice actors that are hard to replace -such as Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Tara Strong and others, and bringing them in to voice (even an app game) would be a huge plus for the fans.

Injustice 2 Official Harley and Deadshot Trailer
The app may have to water down the combat complexity (since a touch screen is obviously no match for the responsiveness and accuracy of a physical controller), but there is no reason to skimp out on the story. The first game did give a nice background of what was going on, but it eventually fettered off as you progressed through the game -eventually making you forget why all these heroes were fighting in the first place. With energy systems to wait for and other things to distract yourself with, it would do well for the game to add more story based content for players to read and absorb.
It does not have to be entirely new cinematics, even a few stills with written dialogue should suffice. Of course, some excerpts from the comic series revealing even more of the background story would also be appreciated. In any case, the tale of Injustice is large and in-depth, and players would certainly benefit from being able to see it all from beginning to end.
Item Collection and Upgrades
One of the more interesting things about the Batman Arkham app is that players could collect parts of batsuits (from battles and such) then upgrade or build new suits. A similar system has been added to the gameplay of Injustice 2, each match provides players with parts that they can use to gear up their characters. These physical upgrades will enhance and strengthen the overall capabilities of fighters as players progress.
It makes perfect sense to add this system to the mobile port as well. The original Injustice already featured a leveling and upgrade system for the cards. This allowed players to strengthen individual characters up to a certain point (of course, having a higher card tier still easily outclassed even max upgrades). So putting in the new armor and gear system of the new game should make perfect sense.
More Support Characters
One of the more intriguing and special aspects of the previous game was the inclusion of cards for non-playable characters. These cards offered boosts and upgrades to specific characters or active teams. But best of all, they also showcased much of the unseen parts of the DC universe. Obscure locations, items, and characters appeared here. These game longtime fans something nice to see and new fans a deeper appreciation and knowledge about the fandom.
In Injustice 2, it would be awesome if support cards can also have active effects that can be activated during combat. Like a support attack or a massive boost to turn the tide of battle. It will certainly be random and can easily alter the balance of a battle, but all of that will simply make fights more dynamic, unpredictable, and fun.
Injustice Gods Among Us 2 is developed by Warner Bros. International Enterprises.
